White

What comes into your mind in relation to the word 'white'?

I know it's December and in the northern hemisphere many will say they are hoping for a white Christmas.

Like this one

This picture was taken at the days first light, can you imagine how quiet it was? Following a heavy snowfall all the normal sounds seem to disappear into the snow resulting in absolute quiet, it's awesome!

Is it quiet in Heaven? If you have read any of the numerous reports given by people that have had an opportunity to visit heaven and return they say heaven is filled with music, unspeakable joy, and a completely overwhelming love! Even the flowers and trees sing!

Silence in heaven occurs only once in the Bible.

Revelation 8:1 [ Seventh Seal: Prelude to the Seven Trumpets ] When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

Before we leave the thought of a white Christmas to focus on the word 'white' from a Scriptural perspective here is the forecast for this year.

What are your chances for a white Christmas in America?

I'm living in a dark blue area of our country - yea! In fact we have snow now, not very much but it's a start.

White in Scripture; In a scriptural sense, purified from sin sanctified. Psalms 51

A Prayer of Repentance

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba

Psalm 51 Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,
And blameless when You judge.
5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise

Brothers and sisters are you dressed in white anxiously waiting for the Bridegroom to come for you? or Have you backslid a bit and just appear to be whitewashed.

Matthew 23:27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly,
but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.

Revelation 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Brothers and sisters in America and the entire world please join me in praying Psalm 51 so our Lord and Savior will shower us with mercy in the days ahead.

Silence in heaven for about half an hour is rapidly approaching please join me in a cry for mercy to our Heavenly Father in Jesus name!

Amen
