Demonic Deliverance

Demonic Deliverance

Not all are called into a deliverance ministry but all born again believing Christians are empowered by the Blood of Jesus and have the authority He has given us to deal with and overcome all the powers of the enemy.

The authority and power given to those who believe and those sent out to preach the Gospel are defined in the Scriptural Basis. (Note: They were taught and given the authority to cast out devils and heal the sick before being sent out.)

The Scriptural Basis

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

All believers are tasked to share the Gospel. What should these gatherings look like?

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (Note: The first sign seen is casting out devils)

Overview

Satan's current domain, 'prince and power of the air'

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

We are surrounded by demonic forces filling our atmosphere and walking about on the earth, for now unseen, but manifesting more each day as we approach the Day of the Lord and His Wrath.

Demons defined: Demons are disembodied spirits, they are persons with a voice, and seek out a host body to inhabit. Specifically demons are the spirits of the giant offspring of fallen angels and human women spoken of in Genesis 6. The hybrid offspring of giants are made up of the mixed seed angels and humans and they die like humans leaving their spirits roaming the earth until they can find a host body. Fallen angels don't die and are eternal.

Demonic Possession implies ownership by the demon s. Real believing Christians cannot be demonically possessed as ownership belongs to Jesus Christ.

Christians can be and many are demonized. A demon may inhabit the body along side the Holy Spirit and only influence a specific area of the persons personality that has not been given fully over to Christ, such as lust.

Sickness and demons/evil spirits are intertwined throughout the Bible. Demon s is the terminology used in the New King James Version while Evil spirit is the terminology used in the King James Bible. The most common associations in Scripture would include the following: Unclean spirit, Lying spirit, Familiar spirit, spirit of infirmities, spirit of dumbness, spirit of deafness, spirit of blindness, epileptics, and paralytics.

Matthew 4:24
New King James Version (NKJV)
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Matthew 4:24
King James Version (KJV)
24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

When Jesus preached in the synagogues He preached the Kingdom of God, cast out demons and the sick were healed. Everywhere He preached the sign of casting evil spirits and healing the sick followed Him. That is what brought the crowds. It should be this way in church today. Here is another example.

NOTE: a spirit of infirmity had the women bound.   Luke 13:10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

Demonized people have a tendency to be restless and/or exhibit compulsive behavior disorders.

Be sure to get a note pad and your Bible before Derek gives you the basics regarding this life changing information.

If you are struggling with specific areas that you just cannot seem to get under control in your life Derek will lead you out of bondage to freedom. This teaching provides the basics for recognizing demonic influence, expelling demonic influence resulting in demons leaving your body and the freedom and often healing associated with the release from the bondage of demon spirits.

Caution Warning: This presentation is not for non-believers. If a non-believer were set free from their demonic influence or in their case possible possession without Christ to fill the void they could wind up worse off than before. When the demon leaves the non-believing host he will likely return with seven others worse than himself to reoccupy the host that has been swept clean. Without Christ there is no protection from demons or demonic possession! If you are a non-believer seeking deliverance and have no one locally to work with you contact me before viewing this video at this email address. Jim McCoy

Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

Derek Prince - Basics of Deliverance

Ending prayer of deliverance:

Lord Jesus Christ
I believe that you are the Son of God and the only way to God.

That You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the
dead.

I come to you now for mercy and for forgiveness. I believe You do forgive me and receive me as Your child and because You receive me I receive myself as a child of God.

And now Lord you know the special problem that I have, the demonic influences that torment me.

Lord I want to meet Your conditions and receive Your deliverance.

First of all I forgive every other person whoever harmed me or wronged me. I forgive them all now. (pause and name those persons to yourself)

Lord I have forgiven all these persons, I have laid down all bitterness, all resentment, all hatred, and all rebellion.

and I believe You have forgiven me. I thank You for it, I also renounce every contact with Satan, with occult power, with secret societies, with anything in Satan's territory.

I repent of being on that territory and I turn my back on it now.

Also Lord if there is a curse over my life, I thank You that on the cross You were made a curse that I might be redeemed from the curse and receive the blessing. I claim that now, release me from the curse and enter me into the blessing.

and now Lord I want to come against any evil spirit in me that occupies any area of my personality. I want to tell You I hate them, they are my enemies. I will not make peace with them, I will not compromise with them, they will have no more place in me.

I turn against them now and in the authority of Your name Jesus.

I command them to leave me, I expel them right now in the name of Jesus AMEN

Note: Say no more and begin to expel right now by opening your mouth in faith. Continued or additional prayer at this time serves to block the spirits exit.

They may come out with a shriek, no worries, you have heard them depart and will soon regain your composure.

When all have departed praise and thank Him Who Is your deliverer! Jesus Christ.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Avoid envy and strife

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

      1. Make Jesus Lord of every area of your life
      2. Garment of praise - (Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.)
      3. Daily put on the full armor of God - (Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:)
      4. Live by God's Word - fact, faith, feeling - (Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.)

      7. Come under discipleship - (1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.)
      8. Make Jesus central - (John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.)
