Before All Hope Is Gone - Prophetic Word

Hearing the voice of God spoken to your heart through the Holy Spirit removes the stumbling blocks placed in your path. It should be your number one priority for the days that are upon us.

Before All Hope Is Gone - Prophetic Word

Let All Peoples Praise the Lord

Psalm 117 Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles!
Laud Him, all you peoples!
2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us,
And the truth of the Lord endures forever.

Praise the Lord!

To follow the Lord you must be able to hear Him speak! (Video training with Derek Prince Part 1 and Part 2 - 'How to hear God's voice')

Listening to His voice brings blessings. Then you must obey what He says to walk in those blessings. (Hear and obey)

Failure to listen to His voice brings curses.

The Rapture? Then the Tribulation? You Could be Surprised

The Rapture first followed by the Tribulation; does Scripture support this widely taught view?

Part one
  • The Rapture
  • The 7 year Tribulation
About Your church:

Does your church support this view that rapture comes first and then the tribulation?
  • Has your church preached the saving grace of the Gospel of Christ to you?
  • Have they shared the reality that all have sinned and fallen short?
  • That all must repent of their sin and ask forgiveness to be saved by the precious Blood of Christ.
  • Have they told you there is literal Heaven and Hell?
  • Have they taught you how to hear God's voice and abide in Him?
  • Have they shared The Revelation of Jesus Christ with you? It carries a special blessing from God for all those who read and those who hear this prophecy.
(Bold and underline is added for my emphasis)
Revelation 1:1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

You need this foundation and knowledge to survive what is coming, without it you will perish. My biggest fear for the church is that you are not ready and that is based on what I see around me.

The good news is our teacher will be The Word of God. James will only highlight and comment on those areas that stand out to him. I did this as a review of my own readiness to ensure I had it correct and straight from the source and not with a denominational interpretation.

As you read through this review please open your heart to hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit and clear your mind of preconceived or previous teachings of men. Your life hangs in the balance, it's that serious!

Our enemy Satan has had thousands of years to practice and refine his dark paths that lead to the pit. He knows his time is short and he has been busy placing his forces in strategic locations.

He is busy creating a one world religion that will encompass all denominations of the Christian church along with all other religions. Are you unknowingly part of this group? Is your church involved in working toward Christian unity and ending Luther's Reformation objection?

You will be part of this brotherly deception unless you verify all that your church is preaching and teaching you with God's Holy Word. If their teaching does not align in agreement with the Word of God, LEAVE and find a group that does.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

Today we are going to verify our knowledge regarding common terms discussed within the Body of Christ to see how they align with God's Holy Word. All references will be from either the NKJV or the KJV of the Bible. I will also reference Strong's Exhaustive Concordance (SEC) for clarity.

Topics
  • The Rapture
  • The 7 year Tribulation
Some say we have a seven year tribulation period coming just ahead and it will be followed by the 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom. Many also believe the church will rapture out just before the seven years of tribulation begins, will they?

Let's examine the key points and then God's Word to see if they align with the Word.

  1. No one knows the day or hour, except the Father only
  2. He comes as a thief in the night
  3. Those who are ready will meet the Lord in the air
  4. Then the seven year tribulation begins

The Rapture

by Todd Strandberg

Is there anything wrong with this picture? (The artist did a great job, this is not a question about art)

These folks are not clothed in white, street clothing will not be allowed, and neither will bodies of flesh. Will Satan stage a false rapture? Could it be the first ticket out is headed to wrong place?

Those who are looking for the pre-tribulation rapture would probably respond this way; the rapture of the church is the trigger event for the beginning of the seven year tribulation period.

Are you waiting and secure in the rapture teaching and only meeting God part way? Do you feel confident that you'll be out of here before things get bad, if so, what if you're wrong?

Pride and overconfidence always come before a fall and eternity is a long time to ponder what if.

For those of you who have ears to hear and eyes to see please pray and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit before proceeding any further in this review / study. For me, during this study our Lord rearranged 40+ years of what I thought I knew over the past few weeks of intense study.

The heart of the pre-tribulation rapture is based primarily on the following Scriptures in 1 Thessalonians.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 5:1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

From Strong's Exhaustive Concordance (SEC)
  1. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 'dead'   (SEC 3498) (a corpse) dead (lit. or fig.; also as a noun)
  2. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 'first'   (SEC 4412 - 4413) (4412-nuet. 3588 incl. fem) 4413 - firstly (in time, place, order, or importance):-- before, at the beginning, chiefly (at, at the) first (of all)
  3. Revelation 20:5-6  'first' (SEC 4413) - firstly (in time, place, order, or importance):-- before, at the beginning, chiefly (at, at the) first (of all)
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

(NOTE: This is the first resurrection as it appears in Revelation 20:5, there is no other reference to the first resurrection occurring anywhere else in God's Word.

This being the case then 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 on which the rapture is based occurs here at the Second Coming of Christ and not seven years earlier as we have been taught.

Is the rapture teaching a deception planted by the enemy who intends to stage a false rapture? I don't know the answer but I had to ask the question. We'll all know soon enough by watching current events.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 New King James Version (NKJV)(Cross ref.included following the verse)

2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, (Cross ref. 1 Thess. 4:15-17)

2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, (Cross ref. 1 Tim. 4:1)
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons(Cross ref. Rev. 16:14)

Revelation 16:14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

My comments and summary

The rapture is taught as indicated in
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 as referenced by those who hold to the pre-tribulation teaching. However what we don't hear in the church is Paul's followup in Thessalonians 2:1 which is (Cross ref. to 1 Thess. 4:15-17) Paul clarifies his teaching in 2 Thess. 2:1-4 and adds two pre-conditions to the rapture by direct cross reference which are:
  1. the falling away comes first followed by
  2. the man of sin is revealed
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes firstand the man of sin is revealedthe son of perdition,

The rapture picture and my comment

Is Paul warning us about a false rapture and the announcement the current Pope is bound to make when their alien savior arrives? Look at verse 2, it is a clear warning. If in reality the rapture does not occur before tribulation then those who are looking for it then could easily be deceived with a false event.

Why else would Paul say this in verse 2?

2 Thessalonians 2:not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letteras if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.

(Ref.) 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
  1. Paul states we will not precede those who are asleep/dead, in fact he says by no means will we precede them.
  2. The first resurrection occurs at the second coming of Christ in Revelation 20:6. There is no other first resurrection referenced in the Bible. (See Revelation) Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
  3. Additionally in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. (This can't be separated from the first resurrection, it is part of it and those who are alive and remain are also part of the first resurrection)
  4. In Revelation 20:1-3 the Lord states: Satan is bound in chains and sealed for 1,000 years. Then the first resurrection/rapture occurs followed by the Millennial Kingdom. (See Rev.) Revelation 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
  5. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 the day of the Lord is when He comes like a thief in the night. The day of the Lord is associated with the Second coming and the destruction of evil; when they think peace and safety then sudden destruction comes.
The Day of the Lord is about the destruction of evil and the protection of those who are His. Some examples follow:

Destruction

Isaiah 13:6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand!
It will come as destruction from the Almighty.

Zephaniah 1:6 Those who have turned back from following the Lord,

And have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.”
7 Be silent in the presence of the Lord God;
For the day of the Lord is at hand,
For the Lord has prepared a sacrifice;
He has invited His guests.
8 “And it shall be,
In the day of the Lord’s sacrifice,
That I will punish the princes and the king’s children,
And all such as are clothed with foreign apparel.

2 Peter 3:10 [ The Day of the Lord ] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

Matthew 24:36 [ No One Knows the Day or Hour ] “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Mark 13:32 [ No One Knows the Day or Hour ] “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Protection

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden In the day of the Lord’s anger.
The Seven year tribulation period

Does the Bible agree and verify a seven year tribulation? No. The Bible refers to time called 'The Beginning of Sorrows' and then Great Tribulation

The Bible does not reference a seven year tribulation period.

The Beginning of Sorrows

In fact in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 the disciples ask Jesus what will be the signs of the end of the age?

Jesus answers: These are the beginning of sorrows and then names them. (Note: Not called the first half of the tribulation)

Matthew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. (Cross ref. Rev. 6:5,6 open the third seal)
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

Mark 13:7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows9 “But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.

Wow, who will be brought before rulers and kings for Jesus sake, for a testimony to them? Those who are His. If this happens to you what will you say? This would be the time you had better wait for the unction of the Holy Spirit and then allow Him to speak through you to rulers and kings. (See Luke 12: 11&12)

Luke 12:11 “Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

It seems to me all these things being mentioned in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 that I referenced above, by Jesus, are occurring now. Nations would refer to ethnic people against other ethnic peoples while kingdoms would be countries. Are we in the 'beginning of sorrows' time period?

Some might say people have been saying that for a long time, in fact centuries ago so why is now any different?

Many during the prior millennial did think they were experiencing these times but one thing was missing that is in place today and it started the final countdown.

Israel has been regathered into it's own land, in fact into God's land, and that began on May 14, 1948. In May that will be 66 years, almost a generation of 70 years. Why is this important? Look at what God says in Mark 13:30.

Mark 13:30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

Great Tribulation

Matthew 24:15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), (Cross ref. Dan. 9:27) (See Daniel 9:27 below)

16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Daniel 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

Revelation 11:1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

Mark 13:14 So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. 16 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 18 And pray that your flight may not be in winter. 19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. 20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.

Revelation 2:18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,

‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass: 19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first. 20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

Revelation 7:14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the
great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

Revelation 12:6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Revelation 13:5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

My comment on the seven year tribulation period
  1. The Bible makes no reference to a seven year tribulation period
  2. The Bible does reference two periods referred to as 'the beginning/s of sorrows' and the 'Great Tribulation'
  3. The Great Tribulation will last one thousand two hundred and sixty days or forty two months as referenced in Scripture.
  4. Daniel 9:27 refers to where he/anti christ will confirm a covenant with many for 'one week' and in the middle of the week he will stop the sacrifice and offering. This is regarding the 70 week prophecy in Daniel and is where the idea of the seven year tribulation period came from.
  5. The beginning of sorrows is referenced only in Matthew and Mark. It has no clearly defined starting point, but all the events listed for this time period are ongoing now.
  6. Great Tribulation has a clearly defined starting point, it begins here: Mark 13:14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
  7. When the abomination of desolation shows up so do the Two Witnesses and the 42 month time period begins along with all the horrors associated.
  8. The beginning of sorrows is referenced in Matthew and Mark while the forty two months is only referenced in Revelation.
My conclusion and concern
  • There is no pre-tribulation rapture because we are part of the first resurrection during the second coming of Christ. (See Revelation 20:1-6 referenced previously)
  • There is no a seven year tribulation period, (see next bullet point)
  • The Beginning of Sorrows precedes the Great Tribulation which lasts for forty two months or one thousand two hundred and sixty days
  • The church preaching the pre-tribulation rapture has been lied too and without due diligence on it's part has perpetuated it ongoing, and at what cost? To all that I have also shared the rapture view with over the years I ask your forgiveness for my error. I also forgive those who taught me this error. Today the Lord has edified me and I share that edification with you.
  • My concern is the lack of Spiritual preparation on the part of believers who have been looking toward the rapture while not thinking about what will be required to survive what is coming during Great Tribulation.
  • The Lord has given us all the tools, but have you taken the time to learn how to use them, how to hear His voice and follow His lead at every turn?
  • I think we have been in the beginning of sorrows period for quite some time, so how long do we have to get ready for The Great Tribulation? Not very long. The peace agreement that Israel will sign with many that the anti christ will confirm, referenced in Daniel 9:27, has a completion deadline of about the middle of next month, April 15, 2014. (This did not take place yet, 3-11-2015, maybe because of prayers of intercession for those who are still lost)
Preparation aids
You need these gifts to survive what's coming and time is short, very short.

Once Saved Always Saved

Is your name recorded in the Lambs Book of Life? Satan is trying to get God to remove your name but God wouldn't do that would He?

The Lamb's Book of Life

Your name was entered into the Lambs Book of Life when you were saved by the Blood of Jesus through faith and were born again.

Many believe that 'Once saved always saved'. I have witnessed many heated debates over this statement. In this article we'll explore God's Word to see if this true or not.
(Disclaimer) I present this statement for discussion. The answer will come you through your hearing heart and the Holy Spirit as He speaks to you personally.

I believe it is obvious to anyone with their eyes open to look around and realize that we have reached the end of the age with Jesus's return very soon. Use this post as a checklist for self examination to ensure you are ready. Time is short do it today.

I can't speak to the condition of your heart, that is only known by you and our Lord, therefore this is a self evaluation exercise to ensure your sought after eternal destination is the one of your choosing based on your personal relationship with our Savior, as confirmed by the Holy Scripture. I will raise a few questions to assist you in your self evaluation but only God's Word will provide the answer to you through the Holy Spirit. Each of us must resolve this question personally.

All Scripture presented here is from either the KJV or the NKJV of the Bible. (Highlight by me is for emphasis only)

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

  • Do you walk in the flesh? 'or'
  • Do you abide in Him and walk in the Spirit?
  • Do you support the world views and/or our Lords views?
  • Do your activities build your spirit or do they gratify the flesh?
  • Would you want to be doing your current activities if you knew the Lord was coming back now?
  • Do you compromise your beliefs to go along with your peers?
Compromise will kill you Spiritually!

Compromise defined by Webster:

  • a concession to something derogatory or prejudicial <a compromise of principles>
  • something intermediate between or blending qualities of two different things
In today's world compromise is everywhere especially in light of political correctness which is mandated by the law of the land. This is one of Satan's most effective tools of choice to get your name blotted out of the Lambs Book of Life.

If you compromise your faith to befriend the world or to co-exist with the world what happens to your Spiritual Light? It goes dark. In James 4 we see what Spiritual adultery results in.

James 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.

Compromise is blending qualities of two different things, i.e. good and evil.

Malachi 2:17 You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say, “In what way have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the Lord, And He delights in them,” Or, “Where is the God of justice?

3 John 1:11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

We all have issues with the flesh until death of the flesh sets us free, it's what we do about it that counts.

  • Do you ask yourself what would Jesus do? (or) Do you engage in the activity without giving it a thought?
  • When you fall and fulfill the desires of your flesh do you seek the Lord and repent, asking for His forgiveness? (or) Do you just continue on letting the failures accumulate?

What would be possible grounds for a name to be blotted out of the Book of Life?

  • Idol worship - do you have any idols? An idol could be anything that takes a priority in your life. An idol signifies a creation of the fancy, an idea of the mind.
  • Intentional sin - do you do things continuously that you know are not of God?
  • Is it okay to worship together with others who believe in different gods, (little 'g')
Exodus 32:30 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people, “You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.”
31 Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold
32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.”

33 And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

Revelation 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

The problem

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Mark 14:38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The solution: (Walking, Abiding, Praying, and Resisting)

Galatians 5:16 [ Walking in the Spirit ] I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Walking in the Spirit requires abiding in Him

John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

John 15:6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

When you pray

Matthew 6:5 [ The Model Prayer ] “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Matthew 6:7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Mark 11:25 [ Forgiveness and Prayer ] “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Matthew 6:8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Luke 22:40 When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Jesus prayed for you

Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Jesus's advice

James 4:7 [ Humility Cures Worldliness ] Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:5 [ Submit to God, Resist the Devil ] Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

Example of Compromise (Copeland's light has grown dark) How can he partner with one who invokes Lucifer?

Hebrews 3:12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;

The Pope is bringing all faiths together, this is a picture of the event that brought Kenneth Copeland and his Charismatic union into the fold.
The Compromise
  • The Pope has invoked Lucifer as the father of Jesus Christ
  • Copeland is a proclaimed born again Spirit filled believer
This is an unholy union based on compromise. See the videos here.

God provides everything you need to ensure your name remains written in the Lambs Book of Life.
  • He gives you the Holy Spirit as your witness when you are born again
  • He gives you the gift of faith
  • He gives you forgiveness when you repent after falling to the desires of the flesh
  • He prays for you
  • He teaches you how to pray
  • He teaches you how to abide in Him
  • He teaches you how to make the Devil flee
  • He teaches you how to test the spirits
  • He teaches you that there is no common ground between good and evil
All you have to do is maintain your friendship with Him because He has done everything else for you. When you stray He pursues you and prays for your return. When you are lost He goes looking for you until He finds you.

He also has given you freewill which allows you to make your own choices and that is the only area that can lead you to compromise your position in His Book. Don't do it, be an overcomer and persevere to the end in Him!

One Church, One Government, All Catholic no Protestants (Video)

Really, did you know we are all Catholic and that Luther's reformation argument ended in 1999? Maybe it has for some, as for me and mine we are going stick to being part of the body of Christ without denominational doctrine.

It's Official
The following from National Catholic Register

FORT WORTH, TexasPope Francis sent a video message to a gathering of U.S. Pentecostal leaders, voicing his “yearning” that separation between Catholics and other Christians may end. (Watch this video here, it's the last video in this previous post)

“We have a lot of cultural riches and religious riches. And we have diverse traditions,” he said. “But we have to encounter one another as brothers.”
“Let’s give each other a spiritual embrace and let God complete the work that he has begun,” he said, adding that “the miracle of unity has begun.”
The Pope quoted a character from Alessandro Manzoni’s novel The Betrothed, who says, “I’ve never seen God begin a miracle without him finishing it well.”
“He will complete this miracle of unity,” the Holy Father said.

Mutual Prayers

Pope Francis asked the Pentecostals for their prayers and promised to pray for them.
“I ask you to bless me, and I bless you. From brother to brother, I embrace you. Thank you,” he said.
At the end of Pope Francis’ message, the audience gave the Pope a standing ovation, and Pentecostal minister Kenneth Copeland encouraged the audience to respond to the Pope’s words.
“Come on, the man asked us to pray for him,” Copeland said with enthusiasm.
“Oh Father … we answer his request,” Copeland prayed. “And since we know not how to pray for him as we ought, other than to agree with him in his quest and his heart for the unity of the body of Christ … we come together in the unity of our faith. Halleluiah!”
He said the congregation prayed for the Pope “in the Spirit” and received “words that are not our own.”
Copeland and the congregation then began to speak in tongues.

Bishop Palmer said:
“I’ve come to understand that diversity is Divine. It is division that is diabolic,” he said, saying that Christian unity is “the basis of our credibility.”
Bishop Palmer cited the 1999 "Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification" between the Lutheran World Federation and the Catholic Church, saying it “brought an end to the protest” of the Protestant Reformation.
He called on Protestant evangelical leaders to sign the agreement, also reciting Jesus’ prayer that his disciples “may be one.” (End) Read more.

The issue separating Catholics, Lutherans, and Copeland was the fact the protestants professed we are saved by grace alone through faith and now the Catholics say they agree but added, saved by grace unto good works.

The Scripture says:

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Deception

Has a slight change of wording regarding doctrines opened the door to deception.

Even the elect might be deceived.

Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Does Copeland now agree with the Pope that Jesus is the son of Lucifer?

Satan/Lucifer is the sworn enemy of God the Father, God the only begotten Son, (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.

Deception is in full operation in the church, you need to test the spirits and verify what you are being told.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Acts 17:10 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

My advice to all true believers:

2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”

To follow the Lord one must be able to hear Him speak (Video Teaching)

Do You Have Ears to Hear? What does that mean exactly, do I have ears to hear? Of course I have ears, I have excellent hearing!

Do you have a hearing heart? The Lord speaks through your heart via the Holy Spirit, do you hear Him?

If you don't have a hearing heart and ears that hear, no worries, you can get them. You will need the following:
  • Ears to hear a hearing heart (Not physical ears)
  • Requires uninterrupted attention on the Lord (a prayer closet)
  • Requires humility
  • Requires time
  • Requires quietness

What does God say about teachers and their importance within the Body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 12: 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually
28 And God has appointed these in the churchfirst apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

Jesus Gathered with and teaching His Disciples

Many fear being led astray by having a teacher who might be teaching the doctrines of devils. How would a new Christian know if he/she was being taught correctly? God provides the check and balance in His Word under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; He does this for all Christians new and old alike.

Jesus taught in Parables so only those who were truly His would hear. He knows who are His and He gives them ears to hear, those who are not His miss the point and have no understanding.

(Bold highlight added emphasis)
Matthew 13:9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:
‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.’
16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;

There are built in safe guards against false doctrine. Here are a few ways to detect false teaching.
  • Verify what is being taught against God's Word
  • The Holy Spirit wrote God's Word from beginning to end as He moved on and inspired each author of the 66 books of the Bible.
  • The Holy Spirit will never contradict Himself.
We all should be like those represented in Acts 17. Paul and Silas were Ministering at Berea.

(Bold highlight added emphasis)
Acts 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

They checked everything Paul and Silas were teaching against the Scriptures daily. Remember the Holy Spirit wrote the Scripture and He will never contradict Himself so it should match the teaching.

This requires you to do your due diligence by checking everything you are being taught against God's Word.

How can we be sure we are hearing from God? It must be in complete agreement with Scripture.

(Bold highlight added emphasis)
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

Isaiah 8:19 And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?
20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Confirmation of circumstance (Bold highlight added emphasis)
Jeremiah 32:6 And Jeremiah said, “The word of the Lord came to me, saying
7 ‘Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying, “Buy my field which is in Anathoth, for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.”’
8 Then Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the Lord, and said to me, ‘Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption yours; buy it for yourself.’ Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord.
9 So I bought the field from Hanamel, the son of my uncle who was in Anathoth, and weighed out to him the money—seventeen shekels of silver.

God's Peace (Bold highlight added emphasis)
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
