Promise

In Scripture, the promise of God is the declaration or assurance which God has given in his word of bestowing blessings on his people.
Such assurance resting on the perfect justice, power, benevolence and immutable veracity of God, cannot fail of performance. (source, King James Bible Dictionary)

His promise

Eternal Life with Him for those that believe

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Have you considered His promises when faced with uncertainty, doubt, fear, illness, death, rumors of war, pole shifts, or incoming asteroids?

2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

When you are struggling and being overwhelmed do you consider only what is seen or do you include the spiritual?

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Knowing god's promises can turn the tide in your favor.

A Word from the Lord today.
