My Friend Jesus (Part five) The Man

The Man Christ Jesus

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus;

The Man                                John 19:5  Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the Man!

A Man approved of God Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a Man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

The Second Man, the Lord from heaven 1 Corinthians 15:47  The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

The Son of Man Mark 10:33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn Him to death, and shall deliver Him to the Gentiles:

He is a Man and a friend of mine, He can sit at my table and dine with me and at the same time hold all things together. Without Him nothing would have form, shape, or function. He is God!

Colossians 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

How big is my friend Jesus? He wears the universe like a cloak.

Hebrews 1:10 And:

“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.
11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;
12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail.”

What is there to fear with a friend like Jesus?

Likely Events You Will Witness Between 2015 & 2019

In just four short years all of this could happen!

Likely Events
  • The gates of hell open (some already have)
  • The fall of Mystery Babylon
  • An alien savior arrives
  • The Mark of the beast
  • The Third Temple will be built
  • False rapture may occur within deceived church
  • Antichrist takes control of world government
  • The two witnesses arrive in Jerusalem
  • All the world's religions/faiths will become one under the Pope
  • Billions of people may die
The Antichrist's plan
by BPEarthwatch (3 videos linked below in descending order)

Summary

  • Third world war must be fomented by the agentur of the Illuminati
  • The Zionists and the Islamic World must mutually destroy each other
  • The remainder of the world must be brought to complete physical, moral, spiritual, and economic exhaustion
  • Christianity and atheism conquered and exterminated at the same time

The Son of Man's (Jesus Christ) plan and victory

His enemies will be consumed by the brightness of His coming!

Matthew 24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Luke 11:30 For as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of Man will be to this generation.

Luke 21:25 [ The Coming of the Son of Man ] “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

Brightness of His coming

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

What will you do while all this is going on? Some of these things are occurring right now, we are not talking about future events, many are in your face today!

Many Christians have been taught over the years that you would be taken out, raptured, before these events take place yet we are seeing them today. Why?

The result has been complacency in seeking the Lord or the lack of real spiritual preparation for the events coming on the world today.

Could this teaching be incorrect?

Everyone knows the reference in 1 Thessalonians 4 that states:

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The dead in Christ shall rise first = the 'first resurrection'. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.

Does the Bible tell us when this first resurrection takes place? Yes practically at the end in Revelation 20.

Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The first resurrection is in the Bible twice, in the two verses above, it is not referenced anywhere else.

Please take this to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to clarify it. It is important that you understand and be found abiding in Him and His Word when He comes for us.

My Friend Jesus (Part four) Teacher, Truth, and Counselor

My Friend Jesus

I met Him at the Cross and discovered He had nailed all of my sins to the cross. When I cried out to Him in repentance He forgave my sins and gave me the gift of eternal life. WOW He is my all in all!

He became my teacher

Matthew 23:8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.

Matthew 23:10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

His Word above showed me who to contact when I had questions. Men's answers are filled with opinion and often error so when you need real answers ask Him and He will answer in Truth.

Truth

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

In my times of need He became my Counselor

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

He is Wonderful and my Everlasting Father, in Him I have no fear of men!

Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I am a Christian but I am not religious, I do not attend church and am not a member of a denomination. I have freedom, He is my friend and His voice directs my steps.

Religion is an establishment of men broken down into denominations which are filled, financed, and empowered by churches who box people into living by rules established by men.

The religious leaders are the ones who crucified my Lord.

Men often are not what they seem to be but Christ is constant, never changing, and faithful.

These men for example may not be what they present themselves as:
  • Billy Graham
  • Kenneth Copeland
  • Kenneth Hagin
  • Dr. Norman Vincent Peale
  • Rev. Robert Schuller
They present themselves as representatives of Christ but one may be surprised to discover they are all 33rd degree Masons according to membership listings.

High level (33rd degree) Masons have sworn allegiance to Lucifer the light bearer, see below.

Albert Pike addressing the 23 Supreme Councils of the world on July 14, 1889:- "To you, Sovereign Grand Instructors General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the Brethren of the 32nd, 31st and 30th degrees: 'the Masonic Religion should be,  by all of us initiates of the high degrees,  maintained in the purity of the Luciferian Doctrine. . ."

Church The Way It Should Be With My Friend Jesus (Part three)

A meeting with the Head of the church; the way it all began in homes under the Headship of Jesus Christ.

Walk in Unity

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 4:13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Note in Ephesians verses 15 and 16; the head is Christ and everyone else makes up the body/church.

Do you think the only person talking in this picture is Jesus?

What does the body do? The body is knit together by what every joint supplies, to be effective every part does it's share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Wow! In the picture at the top we have a functioning vibrant body/church from which life flows to and from all members. Everyone is talking, hopefully one at a time, everyone is sharing and all are growing in an environment of love.

That doesn't look like any church I have attended on Sunday morning. Church today looks like this.

or like this

Could this be why the church today has lost its way? You don't even hear this in churches today.

John Calvin gave us pulpits and pews about 1545 A.D. in the government financed church of Scotland.

My apologies for digressing - lets get back to my friend Jesus.

The head of the body is I AM (Christ)

Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Note: God the Father is Spirit

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Note: God the Son (Christ) is the exact representation of the Father in bodily form

Hebrews 1: 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

My Friend Jesus (Part two)

Who is Jesus in His own words and words by the Father, by the Holy Spirit, by Angels, saints, men and devils. .

Jesus the Eternal Word

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

God’s Supreme Revelation

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Reconciled in Christ

Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Examples

Testimony borne to the Son by the Father, by Jesus Himself, by the Spirit, by Angels, saints, men and devils.

The Father, "My Beloved Son." Mat 17:5
Jesus Himself, "I am the Son of God." Jhn 10:36
The Spirit, "The Son of God." Mar 1:1
Gabriel, "The Son of God." Luk 1:35; 2:11
John Baptist, "This is the Son of God." Jhn 1:34
John, Apostle, "The Christ, the Son of God." Jhn 20:31
Paul, Apostle, "He is the Son of God." Act 9:20
Disciples, "Thou art the Son of God." Mat 14:33
Nathaniel, "Rabbi, thou art the Son of God." Jhn 1:49
Martha, "The Christ, the Son of God." Jhn 11:27
Eunuch, "Jesus Christ is the Son of God." Act 8:37
Centurion, "Truly this was the Son of God." Mar 15:39
Unclean spirits, "Thou art the Son of God." Mar 3:11
The Legion, "Thou Son of the Most High God." Mar 5:7

As we move forward in our study of Jesus Christ we will look in depth at many of these Scriptures to learn the interaction involved that brought about these titles and character references.

How did Paul, the Apostle, know and state "He is the Son of God." in Acts 9:20?

Saul who became Paul was a very knowledgeable and a religious persecutor of those who believed in and followed Jesus. He was a man on a mission to stop this false teaching as determined by his religious training and expertise.

Saul with several associates was on such a mission traveling on the road to Damascus when suddenly he was:

Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

Saul was engulfed in the Lord's light and fell to the ground helpless and he asked who art thou, stating  Lord? Obviously he was overwhelmed in God's light and powerless but he knew immediately it was the Lord. All who were with him heard Jesus speaking but did not see Him. Did Jesus have their undivided attention? YES

After three days Saul rose up and stated He is the Son of God in Acts 9:20:

Acts 9:20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

Saul's introduction to Jesus resulted in an astounding friendship between them. We don't all have a Damascus road experience but we can all have this friendship with Jesus if we'll spend time getting to know Him.

Friends generally know a lot about each other and that information is the basis that builds our friendship.

Friendship and association cautions

Proverbs 22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Proverbs 20:19 He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets; Therefore do not associate with one who flatters with his lips.

Proverbs 24:21 My son, fear the Lord and the king; Do not associate with those given to change;

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

My Friend Jesus Christ (Part one)

My friend and yours if you are a believer, how well do you know Him?

John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

Friend defined

By King James Dictionary (KJD)

One who is attached to another by affection one who entertains for another sentiments of esteem, respect and affection, which lead him to desire his company, and to seek to promote his happiness and prosperity opposed to foe or enemy.

By Jesus Christ

John 10:15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

John 10:17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

John 13:37 Peter said to Him, “Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for Your sake.”

John 13:38 Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

1 John 3:16 [ The Outworking of Love ] By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Based 1 John 3:16 how many friends do you have?
  • Would you die for them?
  • Would they die for you?
Based on KJD how many friends do you have?

Your list probably grew using the KJD definition but are they really your friends or are they acquaintances?

Acquaintance defined

By the KJD

A person or persons well known usually persons we have been accustomed to see and converse with sometimes, persons more slightly known.

Many we might refer to as friends in reality are acquaintances, such as in this case.

Psalm 55:12 For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; Then I could bear it.
Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; Then I could hide from him.
13 But it was you, a man my equal, My companion and my acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, And walked to the house of God in the throng.

Psalm 55:12-14 resembles church in America during the 21st century to me. I haven't attended for years because of experiences similar to what the Psalm says and from what I hear many are experiencing the same.

I never gave up on God, He is my friend and worthy of my praise and devotion.

I am going to share who Jesus is in the next few posts and what the real church looks like.

The real church doesn't have any of the following:
  • Pews or chairs lined up in neat little rows
  • No pulpit
  • No pastor
  • No director of music
  • No elders
  • No deacons
  • No extravagant entertainment auditoriums
  • No Sunday morning meetings
  • In fact it doesn't even have a church building
Real church is a functioning body of brothers and sisters under the headship of Jesus Christ meeting in homes.
