Signs in the Heavens

Luke 21:25

[ The Coming of the Son of Man ] “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

Are we seeing signs that God is sending to get our attention. The latest 50 meteor sightings.

Notice how these occurrences seem to be focused on America; the comet ISON is also about to appear in our sky and many believe comets are harbingers warning that God is about to do something.

Short overview

Does God really use the heavens to inform us of things coming? He tells us when He created them that they are for signs or signals in Genesis Chapter 1.

Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while He may be found,Call upon Him while He is near.
