Sharing Hope and Good News in the Midst of Chaos

Hope and good news can only be found in God and through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Chaos defined:

Chaos is a state of confusion, disorder, lawlessness, and rebellion where the unexpected is the norm. It can be found in any Godless, big 'G', society, look around it's where we live. America has lost it's way, it has listened too and believed the lie put forth by the god, little 'g', of this world. Good has become evil and evil has become good.

America has become a place where children are arrested for playing with squirt guns or bringing plastic butter knives to school in their lunches, or wearing a shirt with NRA on it. These things are a higher priority to our leadership than helping Japan fix the on going radiation problem emanating from the Fukushima meltdown that is likely to turn into an extinction level event if something isn't done soon.

The good news is that God is in control and that is what this blog is about. There is safety in Him when none can be found anywhere else.

The cross is empty because He Lives! Jesus Lives! He was seen by many witnesses before He ascended, over 500 witnesses. (1 Corinthians 15:3-8)

In a court of law it only takes one or two witnesses to get a conviction, Christ was seen by over 500 after His resurrection and the Gospel was shared with the world by those witnesses who testified to others that these things were true.

What is the Gospel?

Mark 1:14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom[a] of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.[a] 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but[b] have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
