Feeling the darkness, those who are sensitive can actually feel the heaviness of the days we live in much like Egypt felt it in days past.

Spiritual darkness

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Feeling the darkness

Desception has entered the land

Chaos rising

Unclean spirits need a host body to act out their evil desires, the host could be any person who is not truly saved. An example would be those who make up the force of ISIS raging war and destruction wherever they go.

The first resurrection = the dead in Christ will rise first

The first resurrection occures in Revelation 20:5-6 during Christ's Second Coming! Have you based your faith and diligence to seek the Lord on escaping all these things mentioned above through a pre-tribulation rapture view? If so you may be found wanting when weighed in the balance. You still have time change your priorities and seek the Lord with all your heart, you will need Him close in the days ahead.

Patient Zero, Patrick Sawyer, had a layover in Ghana then changed planes in Togo and flew to an international travel hub of Lagos, located in Nigeria. Nigeria is also the site of an Ebola outbreak.  “The dad-of-three died five days after arriving in the city”.  His sister, with whom Sawyer had contact, died of Ebola. In 1975 I had been taught and believed the pre-tribulation Rapture would have me removed from this world before it got this bad.

Today there is growing excitement among those who hold to the pre-tribulation rapture based on 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 referenced above. They are sure they are about to leave at any moment, much like I was in 1975.

As we seek the truth we must compare our teaching to God's Word.

All these things must come to pass before we are gathered to the Lord.

• The Antichrist must come before the Rapture
• The Tribulation must come before the Rapture
• The Sun and Moon Must be Darkened before the Rapture
• The Lord Must descend from Heaven with a Shout before the Rapture
• Jesus Must Return before the Rapture
• The Resurrection must happen just before the Rapture (or, at the same time)
• There is only one resurrection for those who are God’s people

God showed me in His Word why we are still here and I will let Him speak for Himself.

The dead must rise first - this is the first resurrection and it occurs in Revelation 20

The good news is there will be a safe place on the earth were believers will be protected.

Psalm 91 clarifys our protection as well until we are gathered together with Him.

Seek the Lord with all your heart and get ready by abiding in Him, it's going to get bumpy!

Who Leaves First? The Wheat or the Tares?

When the harvest comes

Until the harvest let them grow together

When the harvest comes gather the tares first

Where do they go?

Matthew 13:24 [ The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares ] Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

Matthew 13:25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

Matthew 13:37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Is there a connection related in the parable above to the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine? Are the tares the first ones out? In Matthew 24 after the tribulation not before as many profess, the gathering takes place. The tares are gathered first and cast into the furnace of fire then we, the elect are gathered to the Lord.

Then the wheat/elect is gathered to the Lord. 

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Our God is Making the Headlines in the Middle East

Do you believe in miracles? Israel does, and so do Hamas soldiers, in fact Israels very existence is dependent on miracles! Just look at the headline.

If you go by the headlines of local newspapers in Israel, the Jews under attack by Hamas rockets have another hidden defense: God himself. The Jewish Telegraph opens with a quote from David Ben Gurion, who once said, “In Israel, in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles.” The article claims that even the Hamas have become frustrated with Israel’s miracles:

“[T]he Talmud Yerushalmi tells us that in no way are we to depend on miracles. It argues that we must not desist from our obligations and must not wait for miraculous intervention from the Supernatural. How perfectly relevant are both of these views today. We witness hourly miracles. As one of the terrorists from Gaza was reported to say when asked why they couldn’t aim their rockets more effectively: ‘We do aim them, but their God changes their path in mid-air.’ Amen! And when our God is not busy doing that, He is ensuring that the high-tech brain power of our ‘start-up nation’ is working overtime to produce yet another Iron Dome battery to help protect our cities and us.”

The theme of miracles protecting Israel during the Gaza war is not limited to this newspaper. Another news source called Arutz Sheva reported earlier in the month the importance of miracles to the Jewish people:

“The Jewish nation’s existence for six millennia is a miracle. There is no single Jewish life without a miracle. Miracle is an essential part of our belief; it is a gem of Jewish folklore.
