Nothing can penetrate God's shield but you must be inside it with Him! Nothing can stand against His power.
When they came out they didn't even smell like smoke!
But the men who threw them into the fire died from the heat of the furnace!

Daniel 3:19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. 20 And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”
They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.”
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
Nebuchadnezzar Praises God
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. 27 And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were inside the Lord' Glory/Shield and nothing on them was touched by the flames!

You may be thinking these are Biblical stories, how would this apply to me?
If you are a believer abiding in Him and are healthy in today's environment you're being protected every moment whether you realize it or not.
Against what?
The enemy, Satan, Lucifer, that old serpent from the Garden of Eden. He has been trying to destroy the image of God since Creation; you are that image. Today he is increasing his efforts in the following manner.
- Through vaccines
- Through GMO food
- Through the air you breathe by spraying deadly chemicals into the atmosphere such as these.
- Through your water supply with fluoride, chlorine, lithium, and pesticide contamination
- Through your toothpaste with fluoride
- Through radiation from Fukushima
- The list is way to lengthy to continue in this post
The key is 'abiding in Him', making Him part of everything you do. If you are involved in activities you wouldn't invite Him to join then maybe you should consider the consequences of continuing those activities and repent seeking His forgiveness.
With things like Ebola and the rare respiratory illness that is striking thousands you need to be abiding in Him. If you haven't been start right now by repenting. He is the only One who can protect you! (by the way Ebola is airborne and spreads like the flu)

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
John 15:9 [ Love and Joy Perfected ] “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
1 John 2:14 I have written to you, fathers, Because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one.
So will it work for you? That depends on your choices and whether you choose to abide in Him. The Psalm 91 promises are available to you, right now, today! Don't put it off - the next attack could be any time.
