Four (4) Blood Moons - Oops Somebody Got the Dates Wrong

Lunar eclipses are for signs to Israel but in 2014 and 2015 Israel won't see any of them!

Does anyone have an interest?

4 Blood Moons is a hot topic according to Google, 7,820,000 search results. Those interested have plenty of choices on where to look but to what end?

As Great Tribulation approaches Christians need to be focused on and abiding in Christ, in His Word seeking His protection and safety rather than chasing a new revelation as John Hagee puts it.

Hagee says Joel 2:31 pertains to these 4 Blood moons. Joel 2:31 is cross referenced to Isaiah 13:9,10 - lets see what God says.

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Hagee didn't mention the stars and constellations going dark, a blackout! Maybe because they didn't, or maybe because he had a good title for a book if he didn't present the true full connection of Scripture and just used bits and pieces that suited his purpose. Scripture taken out of context to lead you to a new revelation according to man, not God!

Lets cover some errors in this whole concept.

• Israel will not see any of these 4 Lunar eclipses
• The event dates given by NASA don't match God's appointed feasts
• The stars and constellations going dark as stated in Isaiah isn't mentioned either

4 Blood Moons - NASA Tetrads - Rare Occurrence?

Tetrads or 4 Blood Moons are rare but are they as rare as you have been led to believe?

God said these are for signs and seasons

Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness.

Based on what God said in Genesis 1:14 when these fall on His Feast days during 2014 and 2015 I believe we need to pay attention but it is likely to be a non event based on Tetrad history.

Many look at these dates as rapture possibilities. Do not be deceived we will not join the Lord until after the first resurrection following Great Tribulation as stated in Revelation 20:5 & 6. (More on the rapture doctrine)

But I have questions

• Since these signs are on God's feast days in 2014 and 2015 do they have to appear in Israel's view? In Israel's night sky? Or does anywhere in the world work? (As I understand it Lunar eclipses are for signs to Israel and Solar eclipses are a sign to the world)

Why would he claim this Tetrad occurred twice from 1901 AD - 2000 AD when NASA shows 5 occurrences during this span of time?

What does the Bible say about these events?

We must very carefully study God's Word in the full context of quoted Scripture. Many pictures can be drawn with bits and pieces of Scripture and those pieces usually fit mans picture not Gods.

Money changers today market books, CDs, art, and many other items. How many of today's churches are filled with money changers?

Jesus Cleanses the Temple

Would You Recognize False Doctrine?

Today many who say I am a Christian attend a church that teaches false doctrine. The danger of participating in or supporting false doctrinal teachings carries eternal consequences which are...

The Living Word

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Christ talks to us through His Word, Dreams, Visions, and whispers in our prayer closets and during our daily walk with Him. The dreams, visions, and whispers will never contradict His written Word. If you hear something that contradicts His Word then it wasn't spoken by Him. To determine contradiction you must compare all things heard or seen with the written Word. Failure to do this leads you into the doctrines of devils and men! 

We are to be like those in Berea

Acts 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

Being a true Christian is not easy, it requires diligence on a daily basis! Is eternity in heaven with our Lord worth the effort? Absolutely!!! The consequence of lacking diligence is...

Doctrines summary

• The Word is sufficient for all
• Adding to the Word, such as rituals, opinion, practices, and traditions puts you at risk of following after mans doctrine

Food for thought

In the Old Testament God was in the temple, people met in churches, temples, and synagogues. (Actual buildings to meet with God)

In the New Testament we are God's temple, we do not have to go to a building to meet with God.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

So how do we recognize false doctrine? We compare the doctrine to God's Word.

• If the doctrine is in agreement with God's Word as determined by examining the Holy Scripture in detail then it would be sound doctrine
• If the doctrine contradicts God's Word when examined in detail then it is false doctrine

Doctrine defined

From Webster: Doctrine is a set of ideas or beliefs that are taught or believed to be true. : a statement of government policy especially in international relations.

To finish how to recognize a false doctrine lets do a simple exercise together to determine whether a doctrine is true or false based solely on God's Word.

Let's look at the Rapture Doctrine

• 1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

• 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

"To summarize, these passages teach that the shout of an archangel and the blowing of a trumpet will herald the sudden appearance of Jesus in the heavens (1 Thessalonians 4:16). Basis for the Rapture Doctrine being called False Doctrine (KJV)

• 2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
• Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Summary as to why the Rapture teaching is False Doctrine

In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 Paul writes in reference to 1 Thessalonians 4: 15-17 to clarify what was stated  so that no one should be deceived. He says before we gather to the Lord we must first witness the 'falling away' of the church, the man of sin must be revealed, and he must be seen sitting in the temple showing himself that he is God.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 Paul writes the dead will rise first then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds. The dead rising here would be considered the 'first resurrection'. In God's Word the 'first resurrection does not occur until after the great tribulation as we are told in Revelation 20:5-6. In fact the 'first resurrection' only appears twice in the Bible and that is in Revelation 20:5 & 6.

By now I hope I have been able to share why false doctrine is very dangerous and risky.

I picked the Rapture for an exercise because it is something most people are familiar with. The whole picture in detail must be considered as God has clearly described, concerning the falling away, the man of sin, and the man of sin sitting in the temple calling himself God. He also clearly says the dead rise first and then we who are left follow. 

For those who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture you are supposed to be gone before these events so the impact of seeing these events unfold may have quite a shaking affect on your faith. Are you prepared to deal with this change? 

God also tells us what to expect before we meet Him in the air.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.


In closing here are some common areas within the church that should raise a red flag regarding false doctrine.

In America any church that is a 501(c)(3) has to answer to the U.S. Government as their ultimate overseer. "According to the Internal Revenue Service, no substantial part of a religious, tax exempt church may engage in any activity which may be attempting to influence legislation and the church may not intervene in political campaigns. In other words, if the government decides to secretly disappear dissidents, the church must remain silent or risk losing its tax exemption. If the government continues to expand its infanticide policies by extending the murder of babies to include post-delivery abortion, then the church must remain silent. If the government engages in any heinous, genocidal act, such as the murder of 1.2 million Iraqi’s, under the false pretense of looking for weapons of mass destruction, the church must remain silent or risk losing the tax advantages for being a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization". Common Lies

1. Those who say there is no hell
2. Those who say all faiths take different paths to arrive heaven
3. Those who say God and Allah are the same
4. Those who say taking the 'Mark of the Beast' is forgivable and you will still go to heaven
5. Those who say the church is the only mediator between God and Man

Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Call out to Him NOW and be saved, repent and ask His forgiveness and He will come into your heart!

7 Hours of Prayer and Fasting

When your need is great and God's Judgment is on the horizon prayer and fasting is an absolute necessity. Weekly meetings of this nature would be more appropriate for those abiding in Christ.

Prayer is where the victory comes. For those who are serious about seeking God I have added a new page titled '7 Hours'

 

Many Christians don't know how to pray and fast and this new page will provide guidance and direction for them. I use it myself so I don't miss anything I should have covered. (Basically fasting is generally understood to be going without food during a set amount of time during prayer) 

Examples of when and how to pray from God's Word

Prayer and fasting:

Psalm 35:13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

Daniel 9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Luke 2:37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

1 Corinthians 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Pray without ceasing:

Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

Pray continually: 

Psalm 72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

Hey Mom if God Created us 6,000 Years ago what About Atlantis and Dinosaurs?

What do you tell your children? When you have taught them God Created Heaven and Earth followed by Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago.... and..

When they come home from school they tell you that Atlantis existed about 11,500 years ago according to Plato's writings and dinosaurs walked the Earth first about 231.4 million years ago.

The teacher said the Bible is wrong, is that true? What will you answer them with, the truth according to God's Word, or, wait till your daddy gets home and he'll answer it? Will he have the answer based on God's Word?

Our Current Earth Age and Creation

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The answer is God's Word is true and does not conflict with these school teachings of ancient times. I will show you the answer in Scripture, but for now rest assured that God's Word stands true while we explore these time lines.

Archaeologists and science are constantly making new discoveries of old things like cities and cultures from the distant past. Understanding why God's Word does not conflict is important to your faith as well as your child's.

About 2,500 years ago Plato had the following to say regarding Atlantis.

According to Plato, Atlantis was a great island (larger than Libya and Asia combined) in the Atlantic Ocean, but its control extended beyond the 'Pillars of Heracles' into the Mediterranean as far as Egypt and Tyrrhenia (Italy). Its powerful and remarkable dynasty of kings arose directly from Poseidon, god of sea and of earthquakes, though this divine and heroic lineage gradually became diluted by mixing with mortal stock.

The resulting degeneration of this noble civilization led it into a war with its former ally, Athens, and culminated in its cataclysmic destruction, which Plato dates as 9,000 years previously. Of the destruction itself, Plato simply notes, 'Some time later there were earthquakes and floods of extraordinary violence, and in a single dreadful day and night all your life [ie, Athenian] fighting men were swallowed up by the earth, and the island of Atlantis was similarly swallowed up by the sea and vanished'. Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals of the clade Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, 231.4 million years ago, and were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for 135 million years, from the beginning of the Jurassic (about 201 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (66 million years ago), when the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event led to the extinction of most dinosaur groups at the close of the Mesozoic Era. Notice what Plato states regarding Earths destruction about 11,500 years ago. (In a single day)

 In a single dreadful day and night all your life [ie, Athenian] fighting men were swallowed up by the earth, and the island of Atlantis was similarly swallowed up by the sea and vanished'.

The Prophet Jeremiah speaks of a similar destruction in the Book of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. (See Genesis 1:2 above)

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. (Note: There was no man)

26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger. (Note: a fruitful place and cities)

27 For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. (Note He destroyed it but did make an end of it)

28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it. 

The destruction Jeremiah sees here is of a prior age before our present creation 6,000 years ago. 

• This destruction leaves the Earth in the exact same condition as stated in Genesis 1:2
• This destruction leaves NO MAN or birds on the Earth
• The fruitful fields were turned into a wilderness
• The cities were destroyed
• And the heavens above were black

Compare this to Noah's flood which occurred during this Creation

• This destruction by the flood leaves 8 people alive (Man on the earth)
• Plus all the animals, birds, and creatures Noah had in the Arc also survived

I believe these are two very different events and so documented by God's Word to alleviate any possible conflict between what Archaeologists find and God's Word.

Based on Jeremiah's report I have no problem or conflict with findings and discoveries being more than 6,000 years old. Pre-Adam earth ages obviously existed, the details of such are not required to live by God's Word and find salvation. 

God is way to big to be put in a box of only 6,000 years. So tell your children there is no conflict based on what God says in the book of Jeremiah.
